Tour Itinerary

(07 Days)

Arrival in Naggar ( 1,700 Mts ).

Arrive in Naggar at base camp. In the afternoon, enjoy an exploration hike to the historic village, visiting Naggar Castle, the Roerich art gallery, and the ancient temples of Naggar. This charming village served as the capital of the Kullu Rajas for approximately 1400 years. Known for its ancient temples, Naggar also boasts the impressive Naggar Castle and the renowned Roerich art gallery. The village is celebrated for its breathtaking natural beauty, with majestic mountains, panoramic views of the Kullu Valley, and the clear, pristine Beas River. It is an ideal destination for those seeking relaxation and rejuvenation amidst nature.

Day 01

NAGGAR - JANA - MATIKOCHAR (2,200 Mts)

Start your journey by travelling to Jana in vehicles (about 45 Minutes drive), where the trek commences. This trek begins along a fair weather road from the charming old village of Jana. It guides you through a dense forest filled with majestic pines, firs, cedars, and apple orchards. Along the way, you'll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the Kullu valley and its snow-capped peaks. Matikochhar offers an expansive vista of the valley, especially of Kullu town. On a clear night, the sensation is akin to having two skies, one above with sparkling stars and the other below with shimmering lights. You will spend the night at a camp/ forest hut.

Day 02

MATIKOCHHAR – FUTASOR (2,800 Mts) – MATIKOCHAR (2,200 Mts)

The trek begins with a steep ascent but gradually transitions into a more manageable hike through the Kais wildlife sanctuary. Along the way, you'll be surrounded by dense pine and oak forests, enchanting rhododendron blooms, and scenic meadows. After enjoying the serene beauty of Futasor, hike back to the Matikochhar camp/forest hut for an overnight stay.

Day 03

MATIKOCHHAR – BIJLI MAHADEV (2,460 Mts) – NAGGAR (1,700 Mts)

The trek unfolds gradually on a fair-weather road, winding through a dense forest that offers splendid views of both the Kullu and Parvati valleys. Bijli Mahadev, the
destination, is shrouded in mystery and wonders. Its name stems from the phenomenon where lightning (Bijli) strikes the Shiva linga inside the temple, causing it to shatter into pieces. The temple Pujari, adeptly reassemble the Shiva linga (Mahadev) using a special adhesive made from butter, and it is ritually installed during a special occasions. Inside the temple, you can observe charred marks, especially on the walls, caused by the flames resulting from the lightning strikes.
The temple is scenic location atop Mathan hill adds to its allure. It provides a breathtaking 360-degree view of both the Kullu and Parvati valleys, offering a visual
feast for visitors. After exploring the area, the descent to Chansari village takes approximately an hour, from where vehicles take you back to Up North’s base camp at
Naggar.

Day 04

Bid Farewell and Shop at Manali Market

After enjoying breakfast, it is time to bid farewell, taking with you the enduring memories of the Himalayas that will remain with you throughout your lifetime.

Payment Policy:

To confirm a tour, the booking amount of 60% of total tour cost shall be pay by cash/cheque/online transfers. The balance 40% amount need to pay 01 month prior to the operation of the tour.

Refund & Cancelation Policy:

1. Cancellations before 45 days prior to the operation of the tour: 30% of the tour cost shall be retained as cancellation charges.

2. Within 30 to 44 days prior to the operation of the tour: 50% of the total

tour cost shall be charged as cancellation fees.

3. Within 29 days prior to the operation of the tour, any cancellations will have No refunds. Full tour cost shall be retained as cancellation charges.

4. Any tour affected by COVID Lockdown or any other unavoidable circumstances, will be postponed in the same season only (not applicable on peak period), but refunds are not applicable.

Loan & EMI Policy:

1. No cost EMI on 3/6 months. 1% on 9/12/18 & 24 months.

2. No down payment required.

3. Processing fee @ 2% on loan amount + GST (18%).

4. Attachment product (Mandatory): Loan Protect Insurance.

5. The premium of Loan Protect Insurance will be included in the loan amount

Standard check-in time for camps is 12:00 Noon & check-out time is 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to camp policies.
Meals are provided as per the itinerary; we are not responsible for menu management or specific dietary requests.
Accommodation is in base category tents. Any upgrades are available at an additional cost.
Extra persons/kids will be accommodated with a mattress on the floor.
Room allocations, including adjoining tents or specific locations, are subject to availability.
The vehicle will be confirmed as per the itinerary. Extra kilometers or alternate routes will incur additional charges, payable directly to the driver.
Local transportation for certain segments may require using union cabs, and costs for these will be borne by the customer.
No changes to hotel or vehicle arrangements can be made post-booking without incurring extra charges.
Be prepared for potential traffic delays or technical issues during transit; we recommend allowing extra time to avoid missed flights or trains. We will not be responsible for any missed connections due to vehicle malfunctions.
